Bridge Design and Construction Engineering firm, Finley Engineering Group (FINLEY) is thrilled to welcome Pavlo Voitenko, Ph.D., E.I., Bridge Designer to its rapidly expanding bridge design firm.
Voitenko most recently received his Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Auburn University in May of 2018. Additionally, Voitenko holds a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Auburn University, Voitenko coordinated and inspected the installation of pressure sensors on newly built concrete structures. Further, Voitenko presented the results of research at conferences and meetings with ALDOT engineers.
Voitenko feels that his most noteworthy contributions prior to joining FINLEY were made in Alabama where he focused much of his efforts on new developments with computer-aided design software. Voitenko is proficient with numerous CAD programs and an alumni member of Auburn’s American Society of Civil Engineers.
“We’re very excited about Pavlo joining the FINLEY Team,” said Craig Finley, P.E., FINLEY President. “He brings several important things to us including diverse experience (both in international construction and design), a new cultural perspective, a very high level of education, and great enthusiasm to be a bridge engineer. He is currently working on FINLEY’s 3rd Avenue GMGC project in Minneapolis. Voitenko has shown that he is a quick learner, already making a significant contribution to FINLEY’s BrIM efforts.”
