FINLEY Bridge Designer, Alex Randell, Obtains P.E. License

FINLEY Engineering Group (FINLEY), a Tallahassee-based bridge design and construction engineering firm, congratulates Alex Randell on passing the Principles and Practice of Engineering examination, which qualifies him to obtain his Professional Engineer license for the State of Florida. FINLEY has recognized this significant professional accomplishment by promoting him to Bridge Engineer.

 

During his 3 years with FINLEY, Alex’s projects have included the Bayonne Bridge Navigational Clearance Program Approaches in New York, the I-49 Segment K Phase 2 Interchange in Louisiana, and the Road 1 Motza Bridge in Israel. FINLEY looks forward to the great contributions Alex will continue to make with the company as a Bridge Engineer.

 

Alex’s educational and training achievements include a Master’s of Structural Engineering degree with a specialization in post-tensioned segmental concrete bridge design from the University of Florida and the 2017 Post-Tensioning Institute Kenneth B. Bondy Award for the Most Meritorious Technical Paper, on the “Effects of Low Reactivity Fillers on the Performance of Post-Tensioned Grout,” which also recognized Marcelino Aguirre and H.R. (Trey) Hamilton, P.E., Ph.D. Associate Professor Structural Engineering Group at University of Florida.
